Weekend Cat Inspiration Celebration

I'm a sucker for a good saved animal story.

Maybe it's because many moons ago my man found Squirrel hanging off the bumper of a truck going 80mph on the 101. Squirrel was so small he didn't even have any of his glorious fur yet, and he was covered in fleas and mites and then some.

Or maybe it's because I spend too much time on BuzzFeed, reading about every cute kitten that gets a new home.

Whatever the reason, the point is I'm a sucker. So when Lil Bub made her way to San Francisco, I knew I had to show the love. She was just as awesome in real life as she is on the internet. Maybe more so, if you can believe it.

So every weekend, let's celebrate all those awesome survivor cats! As our way of helping out, 15% of every CatScarf goes to help animals in need.

Luckily, you don't have to stumble on a feral kitten in an abandoned barn to help out. There are tons of kittens and cats in shelters looking for homes. Check out your local shelter or ASPCA for some good old fashioned love.

Welcome to Squirrel's Corner.

This week, I ( Squirrel ), will give you guys some insight as to how I look so handsome when wearing The Sid & Nancy. Being ridiculously good looking isn't all there is to it. Styling tips below.

I'm wearing it on the dark side...

It's reversible?!?!?!

Wearing it with a twist. Literally.

And there you have it. Thanks for stopping by. Until next time...

Every. Time.

Impossible to knit a CatScarf without accidentally knitting in a cat hair

Thank you!

Mailed out the first few CatScarfs today.

I wanted to thank everyone who's been so supportive of CatScarf, all the cat's of the world and my grandmother for teaching me to knit. But most of all, I'd like to thank my cat Squirrel for his daily reminder to watch where I'm going or I'll step in puke.

Love,
Lexi
